Jerome Cook, 60, of Cedar Rapids,  passed away on May 8, 2025. Jerome was the son of Lula M. Cook (deceased) and Stepfather Charles E. Cook (deceased) born on July 7,1964 in Gadsden, Tennessee.

Jerome leaves to cherish his memory two children Emily and Emmanuel Watts of Iowa City, Iowa; siblings Billy W. Cook of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Kathy A. Cook of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Charles D. Cook of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Cartina A. Wright of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Tammy Cook of Des Moines, Iowa. Jerome had a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. There wasn't a person Jerome met whom he didn't consider a friend.

Visitation and Homegoing Services will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at The New Life Outreach Worship C.O.G.I.C., 3300 42nd St. Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 52402 at 11a.m., until 12 p.m.   Homegoing Services will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the Church.  Burial to follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
