Zona L. Mouchka, 73 of Cedar Rapids, died peacefully Saturday, April 23, 2011 in her sleep, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 27th at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW with burial to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids. Zona was born August 18, 1937 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of William and Juliet (Riley) Ziegler. She graduated from St. Patrick's School in 1955 and worked for Telephone Co. for 30 years before retiring. She married John Mouchka in 1978. John and Zona owned a Harley which they spent many hours riding. They also spent time fishing and being with their family. Zona is survived by her husband John; daughters Chris (Pete) Wright, Stacey Lynn Hutton, Jonnie Lee (Tim) Quigley, Jerrie (Phillip) Pierce, Toni (Ty) White; fourteen grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Zona is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Pat and Rosemary (Mickey). Memorials may be directed to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.
