Wilma H. Novy, 87 of Living Center West, formerly of Ely died Saturday, June 21 at Living Center West in Cedar Rapids from a lengthy illness. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2008 at Oakland Cemetery in Solon. Brosh Chapel in Solon is in charge of arrangements.
Wilma was born February 7, 1921 in Amana, the daughter of Peter Fred and Louise (Goerler) Ehrle. She married Milo Novy on October 11, 1944 in Cedar Rapids.
Wilma is survived by her son Bob (Sally) Gray of Waterloo, five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, her sisters-in-law Lucille Ehrle, Ann Shimon, and Margaret Novy and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Milo on May 13, 1994; brothers Carl Fred Ehrle and Henry Ehrle, and her brother-in-law Donald Novy.
