Wilma Jean Hansen, 83, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday July 11, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital. Funeral Services will be Tuesday July 15th, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Brosh Chapel, 2121 Bowling St SW, Cedar Rapids where a visitation will be held on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Brosh Chapel. Burial will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Wilma was born on October 20, 1929 in Hartley, IA to Daniel and Gladys (Freezner) Morrison. She married Fred P. Hansen in rural Tipton, IA on horseback. Wilma worked at Wilson Foods/Farmstead Foods for over 35 years until it closed. She then worked at Hy-vee on Wilson Ave for 15 years. Wilma is survived by her son HoBee (Brenda) of Cedar Rapids, step children: Susan (Andy) Hamilton of Brighton, CO, Steven Hansen, grandchildren: Nickalos Hansen, Jennifer Hansen, Step grandchildren: Troy Dauenbaugh, Justin (Wendy) Dauenbaugh, Andrea (Antonine) Hamilton, Chad Hansen, Joy Hansen, Jeremy Hansen, eight great grandchildren and a sister Betty Lou Lint of Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings: Lamont Morrison, Maryann Lane and James Morrison. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family.
