Each life indeed, has its own purpose, paints its own picture, is the editor of its own story, and leaves its own memory. A gift that brought love and happiness to the lives of many.

Willie Delloyd Davis, Jr. was born on June 13, 2000, to Willie D. Davis, Sr. and Kimberly D. Lee in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A light that showed brightly, bringing his mother, father and MeeMaw unspeakable joy upon his birth.

As a youth he attended Metro High school where he received his diploma. He loved playing games and making beats on the computer, which brought on his desire to build his own computer system. You could often find him conversating with others online, providing instructions on how to reach the next game level. Willie also loved hanging out with his best friends, (Sigmund Robinson Jr., and Armani Kimbrough), making beats, playing games or just chatting in their private chat room.

In April 2023, he began his employment at FedEx as package loader where he met the woman that captured his heart, Suad. He was an amazing son, grandson, brother, uncle and a devoted friend to those that he encountered.

Willie D. Davis, Jr. departed this life on July 21, 2023, in Johnson County Iowa. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Evangeline Ruth Lee and Alvin Manual Jr., his paternal grandparents Lee Autry Lane and Delloyd Miller; and Aunt Veda Miller-Mitchell .

He leaves behind to cherish his memory; Kimberly D. Lee (mother), Willie D. Davis, Sr. (father), Evangeline M. Clewis (MeeMaw), William and Trenton Gaines (brothers), SaCaira Elliott (sister), Renna and Carlisle Miller and Monica Perkins (aunts), James Curtis, Broderick, Tony and Eric Miller (uncles). His extended family: Queenetta Williams and the Williams family, Lorenzo Williams (father in love), Tracy Edwards and Valencia Ray (Godparents), Crystal and Darielle Jackson, Janet (Mammy) and Sigmund Sr (Pappy), and his brothers through love Sigmund Robinson Jr. and Armani Kimbrough, and host of cousins, extended family and friends.

As this chapter of Willie D. Davis, Jr., life here on earth closes, God graciously opened His Heavenly life not made by man. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day.

II Timothy 4:8. To God be the Glory!
