Wesley Raymond Fernandez, 54 of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, April 6, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center from a short illness. Memorial Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Visitation will be an hour prior to services at the church. Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids in charge of arrangements.
Wesley was born August 26, 1954, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Robert and Ruth Hudepohl - Fernandez. He was employed for over fourteen years at Terex Cedar Rapids Inc.
Wesley is survived by his children, Thomas J. Fernandez and Sherry L. Fernandez - Hale; grandchildren, Raven A. Stowell and Bryce R. Fernandez; a brother Robert (Carol) Barker; and his sisters Cathy (Jim) Burgess, Priscilla Stamp, and June (Robert) Warren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his aunt Carolyn Crumbaugh.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church.
