Warren "Cook" Kancey, 54, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital following a short illness. Homegoing services will be held at Brosh Chapel, 2121 Bowling Street SW, 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2015. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery.   Survivors include his daughters Brandi Kancey, Shanetta Kancey and Sophia Braggs; significant other Stephanie DeLaRosa; and wife Angela Kancey. Warren was preceded in death by Timothy J. Portis (son), William "Billy" Kancey (brother) and Gerald Kancey (brother)   Cook was born July 5, 1961 in Chicago Illinois, the son of William and Dorothy Kancey. He owned his own security company. He enjoyed Football and was fanatic of the Chicago Bears  He also loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and step children.   Affinity Burial and Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
