Viola Edna Holets Ciha, 88 of 202 35 th St. Dr. SE, Cedar Rapids, formerly of Center Point, passed away after a brief illness. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 8 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids with Rev. Glenn Hunt presiding.  Burial will follow in Cedar Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, and for an hour prior to services Friday at the Chapel.
Viola was born April 12, 1918 near Swisher, the daughter of Charles W. and Agnes E. Janko Holets.  She married Willard F. Ciha May 4, 1947 in Cedar Rapids, who preceded her in death September 27, 1994.
Viola is survived by her two sons Allan J (Christine) of Clive, and Lyle D (Susie) of Center Point; a granddaughter Shannon and a greatgranddaughter Alexys Faith of Center Point; brother Edwin L. Holets of Cedar Rapids.  She was preceded into death by her parents and a sister Charlotte Faltis.  Viola graduated from Wilson High School in Cedar Rapids and from the Paris Academy of Beauty Culture.  Viola was a member of the "Bettys Grove Homemaker's Club."  She was a homemaker, and she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and crafts.
A memorial fund has been established and contributions may be made to the Center Point Fire and Ambulance and the Walker Fire Departments.  She will be missed by her family, relatives and friends.
