Vickie Lynn Wood, 69, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.  Celebration of Life gathering will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW.  Private family inurnment will be in Czech National Cemetery.

Vickie was born December 24, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Ernest and Marcella (Lorence) Hagerman.  She also lived in Burlington.  She is survived by two sons, Chad Wood of Tennessee and Cory Wood of Cedar Rapids, her grandchildren Trysta, Carlie, Ayden, Emma and Brody Wood, and her sister Marsha Jensen of Cedar Rapids, as well as a close friend Deb Bower. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth Wood and her daughter Kristie Wood.

Vickie was a wonderful person and was deeply loved.
