Troy Alan Lawrence, 60, of Cedar Rapids, on May 17, 2022, after a short battle of Leukemia/Pneumonia.  There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 12 noon until 4:00 p.m. at his mother's home – 351 Highland Court, Fairfax, Iowa.  The family asks everyone to bring a lawn chair.

Troy was born August 25, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Marion and Jenny (Kopaitich) Lawrence.  Troy was a roofer and plumber by trade, and a jack of all trades.  Troy enjoyed living out in Las Vegas and Tempe, Arizona as a golf professional.  Troy was a very talented.  He enjoyed playing golf and softball, and most of all being with children enjoying life.  Troy was a 1979 graduate of Prairie High School.

Troy is survived by the mother of children Dawn Lane Kannenberg; his mother Jenny Berger; brother Marty Lawrence; sisters LaWana (Jeff) Anderson, Lisa Lawrence; his son Noah (Stacy) Lawrence; his daughter Leah Lawrence; his granddaughter Payton; his grandsons Levi and Elliott; a special friend Jackie Snyder; as well as his cousins, nieces, nephews, and many longtime friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Marion Lawrence, stepdad Donald Berger, his daughter Leanne Lawrence, his brother Thomas Lawrence and his grandparents Albert and Mary Swenson and Anthony and Leah Kopaitich.

We will all miss you Troy, love you.
