Travis Dacar Hinton, 41, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at St. Lukes Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  Celebration of Life gathering will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2019 at The Avacentre at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW.  Private family inurnment will be at a later date.

Travis was born August 7, 1978 in Cedar Rapids, the son Arnsel Hinton and Constance Ann Tate.

Travis is survived by his mother Constance Ann and Step father Robert "Bob" Miller of Cedar Rapids, Fiance Becky Offerman of Marion, Step father Rick Morris of Cedar Rapids, children, grandchildren, siblings, aunts, uncles, special cousin Lindsey Mosley, and many other cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Arnsel Hinton.

Travis loved to play basketball and video games and listen to his music. Travis was a sports fanatic and was a huge Duke basketball fan.  Travis also loved cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Iowa State Cyclones football teams.  He enjoyed spending time with friends and family and prided himself on encouraging his children to be amazing  people. He may have left too soon but his legacy will live on.  If there was anything Travis could say to us today, it'd be "Good Looken" and "I got you."
