Travis Jay Hess, 31 of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, October 16, 2014. Celebration of Life services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Red Cedar Lodge at Squaw Creek Park. Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family. Travis was a super super smart young man, and a gentle soul who cared deeply about his fellow man. He was a tireless volunteer, humanitarian and advocate for others. Worked so hard for the causes he believed in and was involved in many activities that are just plain smart and uplifting. Travis is survived by his parents Dan and Tina (Harem) Hess, his brother Troy his wife Heidi (Wheeler) Hess. Travis will be missed deeply by Allie Hope Bernhard and many other relatives and friends.
