Todd TePoel, 38, of Denver, Colorado, formerly of Solon, died on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Celebration of Life gathering will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW, where there will be a time of reflection beginning at 3p.m. Private family inurnment will be in Oakland Cemetery in Solon.

Todd was born in Iowa City, Iowa, February 8, 1983, the son of Leonard and Merry (Neal) TePoel. Todd grew up in Solon Iowa attending Lakeview Elementary and Solon High School where he made many lifelong friends and graduated in 2001. Todd was very involved in sports playing football and wrestling. Todd later attended Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa where he graduated in 2006 with a Degree in Exercise Science. Todd later moved to Denver, Colorado where he was a personal trainer, Brazilian jujitsu instructor, strength and conditioning coach at Nova Mente Academy. Todd is survived by his father Leonard of Solon; his brother Evan (Elisha) TePoel and two nieces Fiona and Isobel TePoel of South Amana, sister Sherry Petross McNeal and nephew Logan McNeal of Louisville, Kentucky, and his two chihuahuas Carly and Roman. Todd was preceded in death by his mother Merry.
