Tim was born June 7, 1968, in Guttenburg, the son of Roger and Cheryl (Benskin) Torrey. He married Darcey Denham on June 17, 2013. He graduated from Kennedy High School in 1988 and has worked the past twelve years at Houdak Auto. His passions were hunting, working on cars, Ford Mustangs, motorcycle rides, being outside, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by; his wife, Darcey; his parents; his brother Eric (Angie) Torrey; his sisters Tammy Torrey and Sarah (Dee) Swayze; his brother-in-law Craig Hubler; three stepchildren, Amber Bena, Tim Bena (Kate Vandersee) and Luke Nyenhuis (Stephanie Adolphi); and three grandchildren, Chloe, Bentley and Brooke, as well as his six nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
