Terry Zabokrtsky, 79, of Walford, died Saturday, December 25, 2021.  As per Terry's wishes a private Funeral Mass will be held at St. John XXIII Catholic Church and burial in St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

Terry was born May 5, 1942, in Amana, the son of Milo and Cecelia (Schulte) Zabokrtsky.  He graduated from Amana High School.  Terry was united in marriage to Glenice Becker, to which two children were born. They later divorced.  He was united in marriage to Donna Freese on December 29, 2001.  Terry, Dan and Lola Leary owned and operated Zeb's Oil in Walford for many years.  Later he joined with Gordon Sorg to establish the Walford Mini-Mart.  He enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals, being active in his Church, and most of all spending time with his family, especially the grandkids.

Terry is survived by his son Joel (Anne) Zabokrtsky of Fairfax; eight grandchildren Blaine, Amelia, Ethan, Alex, Mary, Braden, Korbin, and Ashlyn; his nephew Dave (Mary) Leary; and two nieces Susan (Mike) Malloy and Lisa (Pete) Lueninghoener; a son-in-law Todd (Diane) Rumbo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Donna, his daughter Gwen Rumbo, and his sister Lola Leary.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to either Fairfax Fire Department or St. Jude Hospital in his name.
