Terry Lee Thomas, 69 of Cedar Rapids, died August 23, 2017 at St. Luke's.  Celebration of life gathering will be from 12:00 p.m until 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW.  As per Terry's wishes, please come casual and wear your favorite sports attire.  The Celebration with a luncheon to continue on from 2:00 p.m. at the Moose Lodge, located at 1820 West Post Road SW.

Terry was born July 22, 1948 in Oelwein, the son of James and Beverly (Stone) Thomas.  He worked for over 37 years at Cherry Burrell / Evergreen Packing, until his retirement.  Terry was united in marriage to Connie Jo Farr on October 7, 1989 in Cedar Rapids.  Terry enjoyed golfing, riding his Harley, painting, watching NFL/College football, and the Cubs.

Terry is survived by his wife Connie; his son Todd (Angie) Thomas of Dubuque; as well as his brothers and sisters.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association and or the Diabetes Foundation in his name.
