Terry D. Arrington, 69, was born on October 12, 1954, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Pearl and Ezekiel Arrington. In 1985, she relocated to Atlanta, GA.  On Thursday, November 2, 2023, Terry went on a peaceful journey home, to be with her Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezekiel and Pearl Arrington, and siblings, Ellehue Washington, brother, Shirley Washington, sister, and nephew, Jody Rife.

She loved the Lord and knew without a doubt that He loved her. She loved to sing and she loved her family dearly.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving son, Toriano (Diana) Arrington, grandsons, Toriano Anthony Corona Arrington, Toriano Maurice Arrington, and Toriano Demond Arrington, Jr., her sister, Norma J. Arrington, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends, and her special niece, Malika D. Arrington.

Terry will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be from 11a to 12p, with the Celebration of Life Service starting at 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 6621 C Avenue NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402. Repast will be held at Mt. Zion, following the interment at Oakhill Cemetery, 1705 Mt. Vernon Rd. SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids are in charge of arrangements.
