"T.K." - Teonnie Barrows (Krauel), 34 of Waterloo, died Wednesday May 14, 2008 at Covenant Medical Center from pneumonia.  Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids with Rev. Varrell Wilcox presiding.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids and for an hour prior to services Saturday at the Brosh Chapel.  Inurnment will be at a later date in Cedar Memorial Cemetery along with her beloved brother Oliver.

Teonnie was born August 19, 1973 in Cedar Rapids.  She is the daughter of Lonna K. Cox Krauel and James Krauel.  She graduated from Kennedy High School.  She attended Options of Linn County where she loved shopping, making new friends, and the Lord.  Her favorite colors were red and purple.  The family would like to give a special thank you to her in-home aids, especially Karla Corbin and Connie Thomas Broadwater, as well as the staff at Harmony House in Waterloo and Options of Linn County for their many years of dedicated and loving care to T.K.

Teonnie is survived by her mother and stepfather Lonna and James Krauel of Cedar Rapids; sister/cousin Coreena Wingerson and Will of Cedar Rapids, their children Dishaun, Skyler and Teonna "T.K. Jr."; stepbrother Jeremy Allen Smith of Cedar Rapids, aunts and uncles: Jean Wingerson of Cedar Rapids, Lela and Dale Wingerson of Omaha, NE, Franklin L. Cox Sr. of Cedar Rapids and Anna and Tim Strickel of LaBelle, MO; as well as many other cousins, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother Oliver Carl Barrows, and her grandparents, Walter and Marcella Krauel, Oliver and Ilene Cox; and uncles Larry and Lonnie Cox.
