Suzanne Marie Dankert, 52, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Heritage Specialty Care.  Celebration of Life Services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW, with Cindi McKee presiding.  Burial will be in Cedar Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation be from 11:30 a.m. until service time at Brosh Chapel.

Suzanne was born July 16, 1965 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Boyd and Mildred (Meeks) Dankert. She graduated from Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School, class of 1983.  She lived for several years at Heritage Specialty Care, where she crocheted blankets for new babies, created custom made letters, reading romance novels, and drinking Diet Pepsi.

Suzanne is survived by her siblings Jeff Dankert of Peru, Illinois, David Dankert of Cedar Rapids and Connie Stuefen of Covington; two nephews Allen and Brian Stuefen; a very special and lifelong friend Deb Wiebbeke of Cedar Rapids; as well as her many friends at Heritage.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother-in-law Marshall Stuefen.
