Stephen Martin Huggins, 55 of Omaha, Nebraska, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, July 24, 2011 at the Creighton University Medical Center. A memorial visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 28th at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. Private family inurnment will be held in Linwood Cemetery. Stephen was born March 16, 1956 in Cedar Rapids, the son of George W. and Helen R. (White) Huggins Jr. Stephen enjoyed all sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburg Steelers. Stephen is survived by his daughter, Michelle; two grandchildren; a sister Betty Smith all of Cedar Rapids; a brother Frank (Shirley) Vozenilek of Cedar Rapids; special nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunt; her loving companion, Shirley Adamson and her son, Rich. He was preceded in death by his parents, a nephew, Mike Vozenilek and a brother-in-law Gordon Smith. Memorials may be directed to the family.
