Stacy Michelle Johnson Nielson, 38 of Coralville, died Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics from a brief illness.  Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, temporarily located at 3100 F Avenue NW, inurnment will follow in Cedar Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 26 ^th at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, temporarily located at 3100 F Avenue NW.  Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements.

Stacy was born on March 16, 1971 in Monterey, California the daughter of Rex and Debra Barrett Johnson.  Stacy married Richard Nielson at Salem United Methodist Church on August 16, 2002.

Stacy is survived by her parents Rex and Lisa Johnson of Marion and Deb and John Terpkosh of Mesa, Arizona; her husband Rick Nielson of Coralville, and her dog Shadow.

She was preceded in death by her sister Laurie Burger on July 22, 2007 and her grandparents.
