Sharon Louise Ciemnoczolowski, 69, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, March 17, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital.  A celebration of life services will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre.  Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. at Brosh Chapel.  A private family inurnment will be at a later date.

Sharon was born June 13, 1947 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Carl and Emma (Hlavacek) Turkington.  She graduated from Washington High School, class of 1965.  Sharon worked at Rockwell Collins for over 35 years.   She enjoyed going to car shows, gardening, crocheting, sewing, visiting the casino, and most of all spending time with her family.

Sharon is survived by her life companion, Don Cornwell of Cedar Rapids; children Cheryl (Dan) Zahradnik of Bertram, Katherine (Mark) White of Ft. Myers, Florida, Terri Ciemnoczolowski of Solon, and Thomas Cornwell of Reynolds, Illinois; her mother Emma Turkington of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren Taylor, Zach, Talia, Colin, Adam, Barret, Smith, Megan, and Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her father.
