Sara B. Beers, 98, of Solon, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at the Solon Retirement Village.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2022, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre, lower level, located at 100 South Cedar Street.  Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2022, at Brosh Chapel.  Burial will be in Andre Cemetery rural Lisbon.

Sara was born February 9, 1924, in Mechanicsville, the daughter of Ervin H. and Minnie E. (Andre) Spencer.  She graduated from Lisbon High School.  Sara was united in marriage to Robert G. Beers on July 17, 1945.  She worked at Mercy Medical Center Home Health Care for over 25 years.  In her early years, she played basketball, and continued to watch sports with her family throughout the years.  She loved life, helping people, and most of all spending time with her family.

Sara is survived by her daughter Nancy (Steve) Anderson of Geneva, Florida and Robin (Jeff) Ruzicka of Solon; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one on the way; daughter-in-law Diane Beers; as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two stepsons Bob Beers Jr. and Darwin Beers, her siblings Pauline (Ed) Sheber, Lillian (John) Sanner, and Margaret (Lester) Jones.
