Ruby Mae Honeywell Hinkle, 93 of Cedar Rapids formerly of Emerson, died Friday, September 11, 2009 at Northbrook Manor Care Center. Private graveside services will be held at Villisca Cemetery in Villisca. Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements
Ruby was born February 5, 1916 in Pacific Junction, the daughter of Elmer and Mary (Hendry) Honeywell. She married Joseph Hinkle. Ruby worked for many years at Thomas D. Murphy in Red Oak.
Ruby is survived by her daughters Donna Rae Larson of Cedar Rapids and Mary Jo Maher of Emerson; a son Stephen Merle Hinkle of Springfield, Missouri; grandchildren Kris (Gene) Carlton, Joe (Staci) Larson, Russ (Carol) Larson, Barb (David) South, Michelle (Paul) Faxon, Lisa (Roger) Weak, Tony Maher, Shari (David) Chleborad, Dr. Kami Hinkle and Lyndi Hinkle as well as eight greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her mother Mary, a stepfather Clyde, a brother Ray Honeywell and a sister Lessie Webster.
Memorials may be to the Advent Christian Church in Villisca.
