Rozellion "Rose" Lipscomb, 91, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Heritage Specialty Care.  Homegoing services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW.  Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services Saturday at Brosh Chapel.

Rose was born April 14, 1927 in Milan, Tennessee, the daughter of Porter and Ophelia (Nesbitt) Howard.  She was united in marriage to Joe Nathan Lipscomb Sr. in Corinth, Mississippi.

Rose is survived by her children Belinda (Douglas) Bender, Pauline Lucas, Latonya Lipscomb, Tracy Lipscomb, and adopted daughter Annette May; daughter-in-law Donna Lipscomb; twenty five grandchildren; fifty-five great-grandchildren; brother John Lee Howard; sisters Rosalie Dawson, Flora Greer and Barbara Smith; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a son Joe N. Jr., a daughter Patricia Lipscomb, a sister Mary Williams, and her brothers A.J. and James Howard.
