Roszanna "Rose" May Pusateri, 75 of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at St. Luke's Living Center East. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW, where there will be a 5 p.m. Parish Vigil. Rose was born December 23, 1935 in Des Moines, the daughter of Carl and Lueva (Kimbro) Fields. She married Francis Pusateri. Rose was a devoted foster care mother. Rose enjoyed crafts, gardening, watching old movies, time spent with her family and friends. Rose is survived by her daughters, Monica Burkhart and Maribelle Thompson; grandchildren, Melissa (Jeremy) Thomas, Stasha Thompson, Anthony Bridgeman, Tiffany (Chad) Carter, Daniel Krotz, Walter Robidoux, Barbara Broyles, Mary Krotz, Randy Thompson, Tawnee Pusateri, Matthew Krotz; 13 great-grandchildren; her brother, Carl Fields; and her cat, Kitty. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Pusateri and two sons, Matthew and Dennis Pusateri. Memorials may be directed to the family at 1207 5th Avenue SE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52403.
