Rosetta (Rosie) Mae Poduska passed away at the Hospice House of Mercy on Thursday, June 30th after a short illness.   Visitation will be held on Monday, July 4 from 2-5pm at Brosh Funeral Home, with rosary and prayer service at 4:30.  The funeral will be on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Wenceslaus Church, 1224 5th St. SE, Cedar Rapids.  Rev. Christopher Podhajsky will be presiding.  Burial will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

Rosetta was born July 7, 1953 in Cedar Rapids.  She has lived at Discovering Living Aossey House for the past 23 years, and was cared for by their loving staff.  She has been working at Options of Linn County.  Rosie was a happy person, and loved her Pepsi and pizza and also enjoyed going to St. Wenceslaus Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Elaine (Bob) Boes of Ely, Iowa;  Janet (Jonathan) Liebsch of Ham Lake, Minnesota; Kathy ( Jim)Ripley of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and Katie Van Horne of Mt. Vernon.    In addition she had many cousins, nieces, and nephews.  She is proceeded in death by her twin sister Loretta , parents, Harold and Leona Poduska, and brother, Ervin.
