Roger T. Goodson, 84, of Cedar Rapids, was called to his Heavenly Home on Friday, August 31, 2018 surrounded by his family. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW in Cedar Rapids. Burial will take place at Cedar Memorial  Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the chapel and on hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Roger was born August 2, 1934 in Akron, Ohio. He began a lifetime of ministry at the age of 15, and served in numerous places for over 60 years.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Norma; children Becky (Bill) Konigsmark, MaryLynn (Terry) Christopher, Dan (Elissa) Goodson, and Michael (Christina) Goodson; daughter in law Pat Goodson; 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son Steve.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race and I have remained faithful."
