Robert Edward "Bob" Kray, 87 of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Unity Point Living Center West.  Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Czech National Cemetery, where there will be military rites conducted.   Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements.

Robert was born July 20, 1928 in Marion, the son of Jacob and Maxine (Drapula) Kray. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Robert was united in marriage to Verna Musel on August 8, 1950 in Cedar Rapids.  He worked for over forty seven years as a foreman in the bottling operation, with Pepsi retiring in 1965.   He enjoyed fishing, fixing things, traveling, visiting an occasional casino, and most of all the time spent with his family.

Robert is survived by his wife of over 65 years Verna; two children Susan (Randy) Lampman of Marion and Steven (Peggy) Kray of Cedar Rapids; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
