Robert "Bob" Edwin Davenport, 75, of Cedar Rapids, died peacefully on Thursday, June 3, 2021, in his home.  As per Bob's wishes private family inurnment will be in Dunkard Cemetery, Midway.   Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre is in charge of arrangements.

Robert was born February 14, 1946, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Glen and Irma (Fifield) Davenport.  He worked for the City of Cedar Rapids for over 36 years at the Water Pollution Control, retiring in 2000.  Bob enjoyed working, collecting, driving classic cars and motorcycles, going to sprint car races, and working on his various rental properties.

Bob is survived by his children Kristin (Andrew) Blaylock of Cedar Rapids, and Angela (Steve) Woodward of Jacksonville, North Carolina; three grandchildren Ashley, Jordan and Hunter; his niece Jean (Wayne) Hard, nephew Glen (Carie) Davenport and James Davenport.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Lyle (Wilma) Davenport and an infant brother, Alan Davenport.
