Robert Allan Cole, 79, passed away peacefully on 12/20/2024 in his home in Cedar Rapids Iowa.

Robert was born to Harold and Eileen on November 27th 1945 in Cedar Rapids and grew up in Norway Iowa before graduating at Cedar Rapids Regis Highschool in 1963. He then served in the Navy from 1967-1969, before serving the local unions apprenticeship at local 125, pipe fitter's union and worked the rest of his career as a pipe fitter.

He enjoyed tuning in to sports of all kinds and the occasional Budweiser.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Eileen; and his older brother Ron. He is survived by his older brother Rick Cole of Williamsburg Iowa; his younger sister Sue Barton of Aurora Illinois; his daughter Kelly Nelson of Lakeville Minnesota; and his son Michael Cole of Burbank Illinois.

A memorial will be scheduled for a later date
