Robert Lumir Asenbrener, 78 of Cedar Rapids died Sunday, April 1, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, with burial following in Czech National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, and for an hour prior to services Thursday at the chapel.
Robert was born February 9, 1929 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Lumir and Tillie (Kopecky) Asenbrener. He married Nancy Hansen on June 5, 1980 in Buckner, Missouri.
Robert is survived by his wife Nancy; his daughter Andrea (Dennis) Sauser of Fairfax; three grandchildren: Nicole, Nate, and Ben Sauser; and a stepsister Delores Olson. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Jasen Hansen.
