Robb "Robby"Alan Hall, 57 of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Crestview Acres Nursing Home in Marion. A celebration of life service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 13 at the Apostolic Assembly of Anamosa (Hwy 151, 5 miles south of Anamosa). A private family inurnment will be held a later date. The family wishes everyone to dress casually and come celebrate Robb's life. Robby was born April 9, 1956 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Charles and Helen (Wacker) Hall. He attended Kennedy High School. He worked in the construction trade for over 37 years. Robb loved anything to do with the outdoors, from trapping to fishing to hunting. He was devoted to his grandsons. Robby is survived by his son Matthew (Erin) Hall, 4 grandsons Aydin and Alec Perez and Dallas and Camron Hall all of Cedar Rapids; sisters Susan (Jerry) Nowadzky of Davenport and Carla (Bret) Vesey of Cedar Rapids; his father and step-mother Charles and Leona Hall of Norway; four nephews Spencer (Judy) Nowadzky of Marion, Sam Nowadzky of Oak Park, Illinois, Mic Vesey of Cedar Rapids; two nieces Jessie (Brian) Dirks of Monticello and Miranda Vesey (Ryan Canfield) of Waterloo; and his ex-wife Debbie Sims. He was preceded in death by mother Helen, grandparents Donald John and Anna Amelia (Moore) Hall and Erwin Otto and Cecelia Barbara (Smith) Wacker. Memorials may be directed to the family.
