Rick G. Young, 53, died Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids.  A celebration of life gathering will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW.

Rick is survived by his loving wife Sue; his best friend, his dog Buster; his other three best friends, Skippy and Eric and his neighbor Pokie; brother Norman (Sara) and step father Tom Ritchie.

He was preceded in death by his father Ronald, mother Florence Ritchie, and two brothers Ronald and Mark.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
