Richard Matthew Finneman, 74 of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at home.  Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday June 12, 2006 at Harvest Time Fellowship Church, 4890 Gordon Avenue NW, with Rev. C.W. Slaton presiding.  Burial will follow in Cedar Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2006 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids and for an hour prior to services Monday at the Church.

Richard was born May 31, 1932 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the son of Edward and Angeline Loesch Finneman.  He married Joann R. Anderson July 24, 1954 in Ottumwa.  Richard worked for 30 years in the warehouse for Smulekoff Furniture.  He was an active member of Harvest Time Fellowship Church. He loved spending with his family and friends, including the people he would meet at the Johnson Avenue Hy-Vee.

Richard is survived by a daughter Karen (Ken) Casey of Traer; two sons Rick Finneman of Anamosa and Kevin Finneman of Cedar Rapids; six grandchildren, Daniel, Joshua, and Nathan Finneman, Michelle Vaverka, Scott Bowers, and Mindy Amey; six greatgrandchildren; six sisters Esther, Mary Ann, Dorothy, Yvonne, Eileen, and Connie and a brother Ambrose.  Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife Joann who died September 7, 1995; two sisters Fern and Patsy; and two brothers Bob and Jim.
