Peggy Bacher, 93, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024.  As per the family's wishes there will be no services. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids is caring for Peggy and her family.

Peggy was born May 10, 1931 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Edward Feddern and Neva Oliphant Feddern . She graduated from Cedar Rapids Franklin High School, class of 1949. Peggy was united in marriage to James Bacher on July 23, 1950, in Cedar Rapids. Peggy worked for 25 years at Armstrongs Department Store.

Peggy is survived by her daughter Pat Bacher; grandson Sterling Bacher and his wife Kelly Moore and their son Stoke. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Bacher, son James L. Bacher, Jr., and her eight siblings.
