Patrick Leo McCabe, 71, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, September 1, 2022.  As per Patrick's wishes, private family Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date.

Patrick was born March 8, 1951, in Waukon, the son of Leo John and Theresa Veronica (Becker) McCabe.  He was a member of Labors Local 43.

Pat McCabe was a great man, better father, and a one of a kind friend. If you had the chance to meet him you knew how kind, thoughtful and caring he was. His crooked smile and infectious laugh could brighten up any room, he just had away about him that made you forget your worries for awhile, he loved his family with everything he had. His grandchildren, Elvis Presley,  a cold miller lite and the dirt bike track are what he enjoyed most. He was taken way too soon and will be missed more than we can describe.

Patrick is survived by his wife Pamala; children Kurt (Megan) McCabe, Ravin McCabe (Brandon) and Dylan McCabe (Jenna) ; grandchildren Presley, Kinley and Zayden McCabe, Saylor and Sutton McClenahan. Siblings; Janice Miles, Jerry McCabe, Dale McCabe and Mary Plein.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and a brother Tom McCabe.
