Patricia "Patty" A. Bowman-Kurash, 72, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, June 11, 2023, in Keokuk.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 19, 2023, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW., Cedar Rapids.  Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m., June 19, 2023, at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Independence.

Patricia was born March 15, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Lloyd J. and Dorothy (Andresen) Bowman.   She was united in marriage to Paul Kurash in Spring of 2007.  Patty worked as a retail clerk at Younkers and in the Amanas.  She was an accomplished artist, as well as crocheting, knitting, tending to her cats, especially her favorite Blackie Bear. Patty enjoyed attending many family dinners for holidays and birthdays.

Patty is survived by her two cousins, Jeff (Bonnie) Moses and Terry Moses; and second cousins Parker Moses and Carter Moses. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul Kurash, her brother David Bowman, and sister Cathy Bowman.
