Patricia Lea Benesh, 78, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022, in her home.  Celebration of Life gathering will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, November 11, 2022, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW.  Memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on 7121 Mt. Vernon Road SE.  Private family inurnment will be in Shellsburg Cemetery at a later date.

Patricia was born December 6, 1943, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Norman and Alice (Hammond)    Brown.  Patricia was united in marriage to Kenneth Benesh on December 6, 1958, in Marion.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, as well as a dedicated and faithful Jehovah's Witness.

Patricia is survived by her husband Kenny; children Darrell (Cindy), Darren (Robyn), Dianna S. (Howard) Maxwell, Denise (Brad) VanFossen; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her siblings Geraldine Johnson, Steve (Kathy) Brown, Donna Jones, as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Kenneth "Turtle", and her grandson Christopher Benesh.
