Ora Lee Braggs, 71, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center.  Celebration of Life services will be Livestreamed starting at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2020 on Brosh Chapel's Facebook page. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids is caring for Ora and her family.

Ora was born November 24, 1947 in Elaine, Arkansas, the daughter of Ollie and Minnie (Williams) Grove.  She worked for many years in the retail and hotel industry.  Ora was united in marriage to Bruce Braggs on June 19, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois.

Ora is survived by her husband, her children Bruce Marcell Braggs, Fernaris Rashun Braggs, Floressa Smith (Derrick) McMorris, her siblings, Connie Williams, Anna Lee Grove, Erma Jean Lester, Louis Grove, Theodeus Mimms, Hazel Slaughter; grandchildren Nashanda Braggs, Bruce Marcell Braggs III, Devonte McMorris, as well as a host of nieces and nephews including Linda Grove.

She was preceded in death her mother, Minnie Grove Williams, her father, Ollie Grove Sr., and two grandson's, Joseph Smith and Darrius McMorris.
