Molly Georgia Olson, 79 of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center. Celebration of Life services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. A private family inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will an hour prior to services Saturday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids. Molly was born February 21, 1933 in Brighton. She married Jerome Olson in Cedar Rapids. Molly worked for the Cedar Rapids School District for over 19 years at Washington High School. She enjoyed playing cards, going to bingo, and spending time with her friends and family. Molly is survived by her sons Richard (Marilyn) Burnley and George Burnley both of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren Kara (Ryan) Muller of Ft. Benning, Georgia and Eric Hunter of Cedar Rapids; great-grandson Jakob Muller; and her brother Pete Lowe of Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jerome, four sisters and a brother. Memorials may be directed to the family.
