Milo R. Lunacek, 84 of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, October 30 at Manor Care from an extended illness.  Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 4 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids.  Burial with Military honors will follow in Czech National Cemetery.  Military rites will be by VFW Post #788.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
Milo was born November 30, 1920 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Joseph and Annie Hajek Lunacek.  Milo served in the U.S. Army during World War II.  He was a member of VFW Post 788.  He retired from Iowa Manufacturing as a crane operator.
Milo is survived by two sisters Irene Ackerman of Las Vegas and Rose Mefford of Cedar Rapids; a sister in law Helen Lunacek of Camanche, Iowa; three nieces and two nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother Clarence, and sisters Olga Huseby and Velma Lunacek.
A memorial fund has been established for Hospice of Mercy – 2740 1 st Avenue NE Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52402.
