Michelie "Shelly" Marie Huber, 56, of North Liberty, died Sunday, May 29, 2022.  Celebration of Life gathering will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Solon, lower level, located at 100 South Cedar Street, where there will be a 7 p.m. time of reflection.  Private family inurnment will be at a later date.

Shelly was born in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Norbert and Roberta (Carl) Bertling.  She graduated from Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School, class of 1983.  Shelly was united in marriage to Samuel Huber on May 28, 1993, at Lake Macbride.   Shelly worked as a delivery driver for Happy Joe's Pizza in Cedar Rapids, and she also did screen printing for Galt Sand. She worked at Purethane and later at NCS Pearson for nearly twenty years. She enjoyed watching cartoons, spending time with her dogs.

Shelly is survived by her husband, Sam; her dad Norbert (Virginia) Bertling; her stepdaughters Mary Huber and Chantel Osborn; her siblings Tammy (Mark) Walkner, Dennis Bertling (Bobbi McCoy) and Kathy (Kevin) Joiner; as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother Roberta Bertling.
