Michael Dean Sarchett, 58 of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, October 18, 2009 at his home. No funeral services are planned at this time. Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is charge of arrangements.
Michael was born July 30, 1951 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Dean and Illomay (Bradley) Sarchett. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. He married Cynthia Ullrick on November 17, 1973 at First Baptist Church in Cedar Rapids.
Michael is survived by his wife; his mother; children, Chris, Carrie, and B.J; one grandchild, Tyler; and a brother Mark.
He was preceded in death by his father Dean Sarchett.
