Michael Newcomb, 74, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, December 23, 2022, at Mechanicsville Specialty Care.  A Celebration of Life gathering will be from 12 noon until 5 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the VFW Post 788.  Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids is caring for Michael and his arrangements.

Michael was born March 13, 1948, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Roger and Margaret Lois (Meyers) Newcomb.  He worked at Quaker Oats for many years.  He was married to Diane Stephens on May 18, 1974 and again on February 4, 1981. Mike and good friend Don Brimmer worked at Newk's Auto Sales from 2003-2013.  He enjoyed traveling to Florida, and spending time with his many friends, including Bill W.

Michael is survived by his step-sisters Lori Newcomb of Florida and Tami Newcomb of Georgia as well as many good friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his Aunt Beverly Salman.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
