Michael C. Everett, 57 of Calmar and formerly of Decorah and Cedar Rapids, died Friday, July 13, 2007 at his home.  A private family inurnment will be held at a later date in Conesville Cemetery in Conesville.

Michael was born July 11, 1950 in Muscatine the son of Dale and Barbara Fanser Everett.  He owned and operated Mike's Fruit Market in Decorah for over 25 years until his retirement over a year ago.  He was married to Renee Gallagher in November of 1981 and they were later divorced.  He was united in marriage to Belva Bailey on January 28, 1993 in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and they were later divorced.

Mike is survived by his father Dale (Marge) Everett of Cedar Rapids; mother Barb Nichols of San Antonio, Texas; a half brother Cameron Everett of Hilton Head, South Carolina; a stepbrother Ian Bann of Marion; a stepsister Katy (Loc) Bann of Cedar Rapids; a nephew Ryan Everett a niece Melissa (Sean) Radmacher both of San Antonio, Texas; his beloved dog Callie.

Preceding him in death were an infant brother Allen Eugene Everett and a brother William Dale Everett and as well as a half brother Chad Everett.

Mike will be greatly missed by his family and numerous friends.
