Mary Wiedemeier, 86, of Swisher, died Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Keystone Nursing Care Center . Services will be 1 p.m., Friday, January 7, 2011 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids , located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids and for an hour prior to services Friday at Brosh Chapel.

Mary was born June 15, 1924 in Cedar Rapids , the daughter of Joseph W. and Stella A. (Kolar) Balsanek. She married Vernon H. Wiedemeier of Victor and they lived in Swisher. Mary retired from College Community School in 1996.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Marilyn L. Netolicky of Alpine, CA, and Marlene L. Baustain of Brooklyn; sons, Kenneth W. Netolicky of Bullhead City , AZ , William M. Netolicky of Alpine, CA, Robert A. Netolicky of Kennewick, WA, and Craig A. Wiedemeier of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Jeff Pierce, Dustin, Kelly, Michelle, and Lindsay Netolicky, J. James Tomash, Justin and Jessica Wiedemeier, Lewis, Morgan, and Madison Baustain; and her brother, Donald Balsanek of Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon ; parents; and brothers, William and James Balsanek.
