Mary B. Nejdl, 95 of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, June 30, 2006, at Colonial Manor in Amana.  Services will 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2006 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids with Rev. William Harnish presiding.  Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to service time on Monday.  Burial will follow in Czech National Cemetery.

Mary was born September 8, 1910 in Czesky Brob, Czechoslovakia the daughter of Albert and Mary Cech Jelinek.  She married Jerry J. Nejdl on October 30, 1930.

Mary is survived by her son Leonard (Sheryl) Nejdl of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren Lynne Marie (Paul) Nejdl-Erger, Douglas Scot (Brenda) Nejdl, Chuck (DeeAnn) Nejdl, and Phillip (Michelle) Nejdl; greatgrandchildren Emily, Thomas and Brooke Nejdl, Mason and Mitchell Erger; a stepgrandchild Scott Szopinski; a brother Leonard Jelinek of Cedar Rapids, and a daughter-in-law Marj Nejdl of Cedar Rapids.  Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Jerry who died August 2, 1968, a son Edward Nejdl, a sister Rose Zvacek, and a brother Joe Jelinek.

Memorials may be directed to family.  The memorials will be used for nursing equipment and supplies at Colonial Manor in Amana.
