Mary E. (See) Furler, 85 of Ely, died Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 6th at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW, with Reverend Julie Schuett presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids. A private family inurnment will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Solon. Mary was born July 13, 1926 in rural Ely, the daughter of Frederick and Frances (Reif) See. She married Ralph Furler on January 5, 1948 in Ely. They later divorced. Mary was a waitress in Cedar Rapids most of her life. She enjoyed cooking for her family and making jewelry trees. Mary is survived by her sons Jan (Sharon) Furler of Ely, Mark (Peg Reagan) Furler of Gold Beach, Oregon and Kevin Furler of Cedar Rapids; four grandsons Jason (Brandy) Furler, Nate Furler (Jason Rausch), Garth (Lisa) Furler and Brian Reagan; a great-grandsons, Landry, Lawson and Dakota Furler. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Jill, brothers; Chris See, Jack See, Chuck See and a sister Ella Parks.
