Mark Weaver, 54 of 1229 E. Bertram Road in Mt. Vernon, passed away suddenly Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital.  Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, with burial following in Campbell Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids.

Mark was born March 27, 1953.  He was a lifelong farmer and trapper in the Mt. Vernon area.  He was a lifetime member of the Iowa Trappers Association.

Mark is survived by his mother Elizabeth "Pat" (Howard) Kisling of Bowling Green, Kentucky and his father Seth (Edith) Weaver of Cedar Rapids; his children Cliff (Keri) Weaver of Cedar Rapids and their children Cameron, Philip, Wyatt, and Keaton, his son Todd (Melissa) Weaver and Johnny of Hubert, North Carolina, and significant other Dixie Bixler of Mt. Vernon; his brother Dean (Vikki) Kisling of Louisville, Kentucky; three sisters Julie (Wayne) Landa of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Tracie (Bruce) Childress of Kennebunk, Maine, and Lori (Danny) Boyd of Bowling Green, Kentucky; and his goddaughter, Cathering Kisling of Louisville, Kentucky, numerous nieces and nephews and special aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
